APPLICATIONS
FOR ARTISTS...
your application should consist of 3 pieces displaying your best work!
pieces prioritizing human characters is highly encouraged, but not mandatory.
please select artworks with your current style on display!
traditional artists are more than welcome to participate, as long as pieces can be scanned and uploaded at 300dpi.
FOR WRITERS...
your application should consist of 3 works that you feel best displays your writing style!
works submitted should be between 1.5 to 3k words (encouraged but not required - anything a bit longer or shorter is totally fine), unless you are submitting poetry.
FOR MERCH ARTISTS...
your application should consist of 3 works in the style of the merchandise you would like to make!
merch primarily consists of emotes, phone / computer bgs, icons, and the like as the fanzine itself is digital. experience with merchandise is not required, but heavily encouraged.
do keep in mind that this zine is sfw! nsfw works / portfolios will be discarded.
FAQ
WHAT WILL I NEED TO PARTICIPATE?
all you need is a discord and an email! accepted applicants will be sent a link to a discord server where all correspondence will be held. an email is needed to receive application results.
HELP! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO MAKE!
prompts are a part of our application forms, but they can be changed at any time if accepted. a form for prompts will be issued to all accepted applicants, where a "final" prompt will be submitted. this doesn't mean a prompt is set in stone - you're more than welcome to change it whenever!
HOW MANY CONTRIBUTORS WILL BE ACCEPTED?
we're shooting for 30 total contributors - 20 artists, 5 writers, and 5 merch artists. other specs for the zine will be provided to all accepted applicants in our server.
IS THE ZINE SPOILER-FREE?
nope! this zine will not be spoiler-free. however, completing the apollo justice trilogy is not required for entry.

I'm Fei, a mixed-media artist and devoted Ace Attorney fan for over a decade. I've worked on Let's Rock!, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, and Turnabout Ballroom (and more!) as a formatting mod. I love our precious daughter and I'm excited to help bring this project about her to life!
